Approval Of A Parent Page Asset Fails With "Approve Failed" Error (Doc ID 1918345.1)

Symptoms

Approval of a parent Page asset fails with "Approve Failed' error when one of its child Page has been set as an embedded reference in one of the parent Page asset's attributes.

Note this "Approve Failed' error also occurs for the parent Page asset if the child Page is linked as an association, or if the child Page is linked as an attribute of type Asset.

The sites.log shows an exception:
