Goal
On BRM 7.4PS14, WebLogic 11g Release 1 (10.3.6), AIA 11G Foundation Pack
The user was using a WebLogic Cluster of SOA servers (2 servers in the cluster) and had the BRM JCA Adapter deployed on both of the nodes. Having both servers running and the adapter configured on XA mode, there was the problem where the Number Of Active Transactions get increased and NAP_CONNECT_FAILED error encountered, the user has then followed the <Note 1553055.1> to change BRM JCA adapter transactional support from XA to LOCAL_TRANSACTION.
However, upon re-deployment, it threw a ClassCastException in one of the nodes (in this case, Server2):
