Updating a UDF for Role and Organization Forms does not work (Doc ID 1919248.1)

Symptoms

 Updating UDFs on role and organization forms from UI (Form Designer) does not update in the backend database tables ACT and UGP.

 The specific scenario is:

1. Login to sysadmin console
2. Create a sandbox
3. Navigate to Form Designer
4. Select the Organization and search
5. Click on the Organization link in the search result table
6. Add a text type UDF. Put the size as 90
7. Connect to the database and desc ACT table.
(Make sure column has been added with the value which was provided)
8. Edit the field in the UI and modify the size to 120
9. Connect to the database and desc ACT table
<Problem>
Column size has not been modified

10. Navigate to Form Designer
11. Select the Role and search
12. Click on the Role link in the search result table
13. Add a text type UDF. Put the size as 100
14. Connect to the database and desc UGP table.
(Make sure column has been added with the value which was provided)
15. Edit the field in the UI and modify the size to 140
16. Connect to the db and desc UGP table
