BAM CLUSTER - Oracle BAM only Working on One Server in a Two Node Cluster (Doc ID 1919444.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 15, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle BAM (Business Activity Monitoring) - Version 11.1.1.6.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When BAM server 1 is started, this URL works, http://server1_hostname:8001/OracleBAM.
Then BAM server 2 is started, but this URL, http://server2_hostname:8001/OracleBAM, gives the below error message in the browser.

Likewise if the above order is reversed, the server 2 URL works and the server 1 URL doesn't and the same message is seen in the browser.

Why isn't BAM working on both servers when both are running?

ERROR
