Flex 3.4 web application uses JDBC OCI (thick) driver on a Linux server to connect to an database.
The application uses a proxy account to connect from a database to the application by running dbms_session.setrole. After the upgrade of the Oracle Client from to, the application experiences a massive slow down (response times in excess of five minutes).
