Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The BPEL Compensate activity not working under SOA suite 11.1.1.7

The behavior of the BPEL activity "Compensate" seems to differ in two
environments, one being under 11.1.1.5, where it works, and the other
11.1.1.7, where it fails.

A child process is there to test compensation. It fails all the time with a
fault, caught by a catchAll block, and leading to a compensation.
If the compensation mechanism works, then Child should reply "compensate!" in
its output payload.

If the compensation mechanism fails, then the Child should reply "start" in its
output payload.
