Symptoms
When a folder containing content is dragged from a network drive into a WebCenter Content (WCC) via Desktop Integration Suite Windows Explorer Integration, the user sees an Error:
Unable to execute service method 'getFFRequiredMetadataPromptSet'. The error was caused by an internally generated issue. The error has been logged.
A single file works.
Multiple files work.
A single folder works.
But multiple folders, or one file plus one folder, both fail with the above error.
The log file shows:
Event generated by user 'user1' at host '<HostName>:16219'. Unable to execute service method 'getFFRequiredMetadataPromptSet'. Runtime error: java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -1
