Switching from Trays to TopMenu Causes Users to lose Access to Accounts

Switching from Trays interface to Top Menus causes loss of access to Accounts. This is confirmed when accessing the user profile which shows no accounts after switching to Top Menus. Switching back to Trays eventually reveals the accounts again in the user profile.
