Applies to:

Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud Software - Version 2.0.6.0.0 and later
Linux x86-64
Oracle Virtual Server (x86-64)

Purpose

In Exalogic 2.0.6.x virtual release there may be situations where the unused IP addresses of EoIB Network are not released back to pool.

For example, if you have EoIB Network with 10 IP addresses and you have 2 IP addresses being used by vServers and rest of 8 IP addresses are missing.

This document provides information on how to release the unused IP's and re-assign them to vDC.
