Symptoms
Attempt to connect to Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11g (11.1.1.4 and higher, including 12c) using Oracle Directory Services Manager (ODSM) fails for a new user created:
(x) Error
Invalid credentials.
The same user is able to bind using ldapbind command line.
The cn=orcladmin account is also able to login.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Access ODSM URL.
2. Choose "Connect to a Directory" option and select the preconfigured OID connection.
3. In the Connect window, enter the new username, e.g., "cn=<NEW_USERNAME>" and the valid password for the user.
