The following error appears when scanning documents:
Cannot lock a batch before it has been persisted. The batch may also have been deleted by another user.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Select the scan button.
2. The batch prefix is populated and an option to append to the existing batch such as batch_prefixxxxxxx.
3. Select "Yes" to this option.
4. The error appears on the screen.
