Starting or stopping an Oracle API Gateway (OAG) instance fails with an error

XML parse failed for ... unable to open primary document entity

 

Example messages:

$ <OAG HOME>/apigateway/posix/bin/startinstance -n "<GATEWAY>" -g "<GROUP>" –k
XML parse failed for "" / "": line 0: unable to open primary document entity '–k'

 

$ <OAG HOME>/apigateway/posix/bin/startinstance -n "<GATEWAY>" -g "<GROUP>" –d
XML parse failed for "" / "": line 0: unable to open primary document entity '–d'
