This document describes how to setup integration between Oracle B2B and remote partners via VAN providers using AS2 exchange protocol.

In B2B world, usually integration between trading partners is made via a VAN (Value-Added Network) provider.

VAN is only an intermediate node in the communication chain between business partners, it doesn't act like a final destination/endpoint. It's just adding improved security and reliability capabilities, and improves communication performance.

But from Oracle B2B point of view, the VAN usage should be transparent. Business partner and agreement identification should happen exactly the same way as when VAN is not being used.
