AD Password Sync Error: "Unknown method"

Symptoms

With 9.1.1.5.x version, Microsoft Active Directory Password Sync Errors and the user password is not updated in OIM.

You can also successfully access the web service on OIM from the AD Domain Controller where the password is being changed.

In the OIMMain.log see an error similar to the following:

Note the error  "<faultstring>Unknown method</faultstring>" .

If looking at a Wireshark trace, you will see that this error is being returned from the OIM server.
