AD Password Sync Error: "Unknown method" (Doc ID 1926890.1)

Symptoms

With 9.1.1.5.x version of Microsoft Active Directory Password Sync Errors and the user password is not updated in OIM.

The error in the OIMMain.log:

Debug [09/08/14 15:54:43] Inside sgsloidi::setParameters

You can also successfully access the SPML web service on OIM from the AD Domain Controller where the password is being changed.
