Symptoms

You are migrating a JDeveloper 10g JAX-RPC web service application to JDeveloper 11.1.1.7. This application fails when deployed and run on the integrated WLS instance with the error that WLS fails to encode that array.

- Steps to reproduce

Create a default JAX-RPC for WLS web service for the following simple class:
