PICKORDERASSET Attribute Editor Behaves Incorrectly for Multi-Valued Asset Type Attribtue after Asset Save (Doc ID 1927386.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 25, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Sites - Version 11.1.1.6.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A flex asset is configured with a multi-valued attribute of type "asset". For example, the following assets are referenced in this attribute:

 - RefAsset1
 - RefAsset2
 - RefAsset3
 - RefAsset4

After editing/saving the flex asset, the list of assets referenced in the attribute changes - the first asset is no longer in the list and replaced by a duplicate of the last asset. For example:

 - RefAsset4
 - RefAsset2
 - RefAsset3
 - RefAsset4

Another edit/save of the flex asset doesn't change the list of the assets referenced in the attribute anymore. It is happening only when the 1st asset is different from the last asset.

Changes

The multi-valued attribute of type "asset" uses the deprecated PICKORDERASSET attribute editor.
