Do We Have A Heart Beat URL For OAAM? (Doc ID 1927725.1)

Last updated on MARCH 08, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Adaptive Access Manager - Version 11.1.2.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

As per the OAM admin guide (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E40329_01/admin.1112/e27239/metrics.htm#BEIHEFGD) The OAM monitoring model allows Web Tier components (load balancers) to ping an OAM Managed Server's HeartBeat endpoint at a scheduled interval over HTTP(S). This allows Web Tier components to route incoming HTTP traffic away from unhealthy OAM Managed Server(s). Every OAM Managed Server exposes this HeartBeat URL

Scheme://ManagedServerHost:ManagedServerPort/oam/server/HeartBeat

Does a similar heartbeat mechanism exist for OAAM?
