WLS JDBC Pool - Physical Connections are not closed by WebLogic JDBC Datasource using OCI driver (Doc ID 1928018.1)

Symptoms

JDBC datasource has been configured using OCI Driver.

After sometime running the application the number of sessions in v$session is increasing until  reach the maximum open sessions database parameter.  From the WebLogic Server JDBC monitor the number of sessions is according to the parameter set : Initial Capacity and Maximum Capacity.

The only way to remove these connections is restart WebLogic Server.
