Last updated on MARCH 08, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle JDeveloper - Version 12.1.2.0.0 to 12.1.3.0.0 [Release 12c]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In JDeveloper 12.1.2.0.0/12.1.3.0.0 the "Data Control" tab of the "Application Window" in JDeveloper does not show the view objects included in a nested application module in alphabetical order. Instead it shows the view objects in the sequence these were added. However if you look at the data control generated for the nested application module directly then the view objects are in alphabetical order. However looking at the root Data Control and then drilling down to the nested application module the view objects are NOT in alphabetical order.
