OGG FF Adapter Text With LF Causing Output To Be Broken (Doc ID 1928168.1)

Last updated on MAY 11, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle GoldenGate Application Adapters - Version 11.2.1.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

OGG Flat File Adapter v11.2.1 processing trail data containing LF (line feed) is causing a single record to be broken into 2 records.

For example, in a, column 12 has a hex '0a' (LF)
between the character values '... <string 1>.' and '<string2> ...':

Column 12 (x000c), Len 46 (x002e)
<hex value of string 1> | ...*1500 <column data> <stri
<hex value of string1 contd> 0a <hex value value of string 2> | ng1>..<string 2>, <column data>
0a34 3833 3236

Is there a FF properties setting to ignore these values in text fields?
