How To Use an LDAP User To Establish the EBS --> UCM Managed Attachment Connection (Doc ID 1928181.1)

Goal

The IPM and Webcenter Content domain are configured with a Weblogic LDAP provider.

In some domain configuration scenarios, the standard domain defaultauthenticator admin user (typically user weblogic) can't be used to log into the IPM or WCC.

One such example is when the domain is configured for OAM SSO

When configuring the EBS WCC integration, a user with the Content Server admin role must be used to establish the connection (which the domain admin user has).

If the domain default admin user can't be used, how can an LDAP user be set to establish the EBS --> IPM --> UCM managed attachment connection?

Important: If you are using Webenter Content (WCC) 12.2.1.1.0 or 12.2.1.2.0 Managed attachments, these particular versions no longer require/use the Imaging (IPM) Managed server. This is due to IPM not being available in 12c, until version 12.2.1.3.0 and above. Take this into consideration for the steps below!
