(Doc ID 1929110.1)
Last updated on JANUARY 28, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle API Gateway - Version 11.1.1.6.1 to 11.1.2.4.0 [Release 11gR1]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
1. How to change from a self-signed certificate to a server certificate for HTTPS access to the OAG console.
2. It is not clear from the document if CA/subCA certificate refer to CA Root Certificate and CA Intermediate Certificate respectively. Is that correct?
3. Do I need the server certificate + intermediate certificate + root certificate in order to generate the PKCS12 certificate to be able to use our internal certificate?
4. Why signing the internal certificate expects the Private Key for the Intermediate and/or Root Certificate to be made available? it seems that exposing the Private Key for a company's Intermediate and/or Root Certificate is a high risk proposition.
