Encoding Error, every Character with Accentuation are being replaced by 'Ã'

There are two composites that exchange data trough a XML Type Oracle queue (AQ).
The messages are being en-queued and de-queued using AQ Adapters running on SOA Suite 220.127.116.11.0.
Everything is working fine with the composite en queuing messages. However, the composite that de-queues message is getting encoding problems in message content: every character with accentuation is replaced by Ã.

The message content in the database was reviewed by using SQL Developer, and it is fine.
Every character with accentuation are being replaced by 'Ã' for unknown reason. Everything else is working ok.
