Last updated on DECEMBER 18, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 11.1.1.8.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 11.1.1.8.0 version, Records Management

After creating the categoryID and assigning the disposition rules, the disposition type for the category is set to "No Disposition" on the category info page and items assigned to the categoryID are not being processed as expected. The disposition type should usually be set to a value like "Time-event".

This also affects existing CategoryID's, where RM admins cannot update or change the disposition rules. After saving the change, the disposition rule remains unchanged.
