After replacing the View / Report Options for a BAM Action Button, the Button no longer Works (Doc ID 1930434.1)

Symptoms

On: 11.1.1.7.0 version, BAM Server.

After replacing the View / Replace actions for a BAM Action Button the button stops working.  It shows a small dialog window:

Webpage Dialog:
The report has changed since the action button was defined. Edit the button to make corrections.

 

Steps:

BAM 11.1.1.7.0

1. In BAM Architect create a Data Object:
Name: DO_Test
Fields:
f_key    integer
f_string string 100

2. Add 2 rows

f_key    f_string
1         One
2         Two

3. Create a new report in BAM Active Studio

Type: Streaming List
Data Object: DO_Test
Fields: f_key, f_string

4. Go to Change Report Properties -> Actions tab -> New
Name: a_test -> Next
-> Add -> Open an URL -> Next -> New term -> Constant Value -> Constant value: http://oracle.com -> OK -> OK
-> Next (Button Formatting)
Choose Display the button in a view -> do a click in the gray square area, check the Display as a column of formatted links in the selected view checkbox -> Column to format: f_key -> Choose the Replace the view or Replace the report option (*) -> Ok
-> Ok
Save the report : report_test

5. Open the report report_test in BAM Active Viewer and do a click on any of the f_key links

A Dialog box will appear:

The report has changed since the aciton button was defined.Edit the button to make corrections.

(*) If the option to launch a new window is used then a new IE window is opened without error.
