Migrating Blog Post Service From Wordpress To WebCenter Portal (Doc ID 1930769.1)

Last updated on JULY 07, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Portal - Version 11.1.1.8.0 to 11.1.1.8.0 [Release 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Using Blogs Task Flow in a WebCenter Portal Framework application it's possible to create new blog posts and display them.

Each blog post is stored in UCM as an HTML file.

It's needed to migrate some blog posts from Wordpress into WebCenter Portal.

So each blog post has been exported as an HTML file and moved into Blog folder on UCM.

But could not manage to show them in Blog Task Flows, even if they have same UCM metadata with an auto-generated blog post. It seems WC Portal stores some extra metadata to specify if a content is a blog or not.

At this point is it possible to migrate blog posts into WebCenter Portal?
