(Doc ID 1933897.1)
Last updated on JUNE 02, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle SOA Suite - Version 11.1.1.1.0 to 11.1.1.7.0 [Release 11gR1]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
The FTP Adapter transfers some files in Binary mode despite having the ASCII FileType.
In this case, there are two FTP Adapters that are called by BPEL Processes:
- Adapter#1 FileType is "binary".
- Adapter#2 FileType is "ascii".
Both FTP Adapters use the same Connection Pool (same JNDI name).
Adapter#2 (ascii) may transfer a file in Binary mode when the two Adapters are continuously executed in the order, Adapter#1 (binary) -> Adapter#2 (ascii).
