Symptoms
When starting HotCache GoldenGate extract with:
CoherenceAdapter throws an exception:
<Time Stamp> Oracle Coherence GE 12.1.2.0.0 <Error> (thread=main, member=n/a): Error while starting cluster: java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: TCMP clustering has been disabled; this configuration may only access clustered services via Extend proxies.
The error occurs in HotCache - GoldenGate adapter for Coherence ( oracle.toplink.goldengate.CoherenceAdapter) acting as an Extend client, as suggested in HotCache documentation (section 7.5.3 - Oracle recommends that the connection between HotCache and the Coherence cluster be made with Coherence*Extend).
