Symptoms
In this scenario, the desired behavior was to change the web server instance hostname but not the administration server hostname even though both instances resided on the same physical server. The steps in <note:1435413.1> were followed minus the changes in the administration server's config directory. The following error occurred when attempting to deploy the configuration to the instance:
