After Login To Portal And Then Removing The GITO Cookie, The Session No Longer Expires. (Doc ID 1941136.1)

Last updated on MARCH 31, 2016

Applies to:

Portal - Version 11.1.1.6.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Global Inactivity Timeout of 15 minutes is a requirement. After 15
minutes of idle time, the user's session should be expired for security reasons. During testing we noticed that an end user could extend this idle
timeframe by just deleting the OSSO_USER_CTX (GITO) cookie from the browser.
