Exception with "MQRA:OMR:onMessage:WorkException-error Code: 1" seen in GlassFish server.log (Doc ID 1941297.1)

Symptoms

On GlassFish 2.1.x and also GlassFish 3.1.2.x (up to 3.1.2.9) version, it is possible that when  attempting to perform MDB message processing
the following error occurs. ("MQRA:OMR:onMessage:WorkException-error code: 1 on omrId=0")


There is not deterministic pattern to this but this happens in the WorkCoordinator when the MDB work is being dispatched. 

This may cause the message to be stuck and not processed until either GlassFish or the MQ broker is restarted to cause the message to be redelivered (assuming the message is not expired).
