Session Times Out During Asset Save Filter Execution (Doc ID 1942988.1)

Symptoms

Trying to save an asset that triggers custom flex filter, the session is logged off due to inactivity. When the flex filter finishes running, an exception is thrown and the asset fails to save.

The timeout occurs approximately 2 minutes after clicking the Save button.

Changes

The custom flex filter takes a long time to complete.

The environment is clustered and the user accesses the UI through the loadbalancer.

The loadbalancer is set to time out after 2 minutes and retry on another cluster member.
