DB Adapter Polling Duplicates against MS*SQL Database despite using MarkReservedValue (Doc ID 1945667.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 19, 2014

Applies to:

Oracle SOA Suite - Version 11.1.1.7.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The best practice for multiple Oracle Database Adapter process instances deployed to multiple Oracle BPEL Process Manager or Oracle Mediator nodes is to use LogicalDeletePollingStrategy or DeletePollingStrategy with a unique MarkReservedValue on each polling node, and then setting MaxTransactionSize.

MarkReservedValue is failing against MS SQL Server.
