Goal

We are seeking to integrate Sites with SiteMinder for authentication and authorization:

1. Is it possible to replace CAS with a custom component, such as SiteMinder?
2. Can CAS and SiteMinder be federated together e,g, using SAML?
3. Can a SQL Authenticator Provider on Weblogic be used for this instead?
4. Alternatively leaving CAS in place, could Sites itself authenticate against SiteMinder in a similar way that Sites can leverage LDAP for authentication and authorization?
