Exabr getting stuck at Sync when backing up Exalogic Guest vServer (Doc ID 1950219.1)

Symptoms

Issue of Exabr getting stuck when backing up Exalogic guest vServer is observed. In this example issue occurred on Exabr version 1.2, but it can happen on any version of Exabr.

Exabr version:-

[root@ela02cn01 bin]# ./exabr --version
ExaBR 1.2 (b7834)

While taking backup of the guest vServer on EECS 2.0.6.0.0 Exabr gets stuck and fails as follows with timeout message at sync in exabr.log

From exabr.log:

2014/11/19 05:45:57 Starting backup operation using LVM snapshot
2014/11/19 06:01:17 ERROR: Timed out waiting for '10.201.0.15' (host: 10.201.0.15, command: "sync", returncode: 1)
2014/11/19 06:01:17 Skipping to the next target...


[root@ela02cn01 logs]# cat /exalogic-lcdata/backups/user_vservers/10.201.0.15/201411190509/
backup.info version.backup
[root@ela02cn01 logs]# cat /exalogic-lcdata/backups/user_vservers/10.201.0.15/201411190509/backup.info

When we execute exabr with the debug option we see below output with same timeout message at sync.
