Symptoms
When attempting to send email using APEX the request fails. This failure occurs when sending mail through the APEX application.
It also fails when sending mail using the APEX_MAIL procedure in SQL Workshop:
The mail log may show other ORA-29278 related errors depending on the request.
Other information
- The mail server values have been verified in the instance settings and are correct.
- The ACL for the APEX schema (APEX_040200 in this case) has been created. This can be seen in the output from the apex_verify.sql script.
