Logon Manager Fails to Recognize Application Without Compatability Mode Enabled in IE 11 (Doc ID 1952549.1)

Symptoms

Logon Manager fails to respond to a web application in IE 11 without compatibility mode enabled for the web site.

The expected behavior is that Logon Manager respond to the application in IE 11 native mode without having to enable compatibility view.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a web application template for the target application.
2. Open the IE 11 browser with Compatibility mode disabled.
3. Enter the URL for the web application in the Address bar.
