Goal

CVE-2015-0434 / CVE-2015-0367 is documented by Oracle in the January 2015 Security Advisory for Oracle Access Manager versions 11.1.1.5, 11.1.1.7, 11.1.2.1 and 11.1.2.2 where a Patch has been provided to complement the configuration instructions within this document.

To obtain the latest CPU patches, other security fixes and advice, go to http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/topics/security/alerts-086861.html to find the latest Security Advisory. Go to it and click the link for "Fusion Middleware" for a cumulative Patch Availability Document covering versions under error correction support. Going forward, this document will be included in the Oracle Access Management tables for reference when applying updates.

This configuration is intended to address a security concern associated with the OAM logout function. Oracle recommends this configuration be adopted.

The information in this note is applicable ONLY for the following OAM releases:
  • Version 11.1.1.5.8 and later
  • Version 11.1.1.7.3 and later
  • Version 11.1.2.1.4 and later
  • Version 11.1.2.2.3 and later
