Site Entry Sharing Not Working (Doc ID 1955043.1)

Goal

When copying a site through Site Launcher. I am sharing all the site entries but after sharing when I am trying to fetch ics.GetVar("site") in respective CSElements, I am getting the value of first site only. Also the value for the pagelet parameter named "site" in site entry is not changed.

For instance I made the site entry for site A , and I have another site B with which I share it. Then pagelet parameter has the value site:A even after I shared it. Then later when I edited it, it change to site:B. For our implementation we need our site entries to be shared among sites. How could we get the current site?
