Custom Process Tasks Not Retained During Connector Upgrade (Doc ID 1955627.1)

Goal

On OIM 11gR2 PS2 (11.1.2.2), when upgrading Exchange connector from 11.1.1.5.0 to 11.1.1.6.0), it will not retain custom process tasks, despite what is claimed.

1. go to /sysadmin
2. click Manage Connector
3. click Define and create a definition of the connector as-is, ie. with its customizations including new process tasks on the process definition
4. go back to Manage Connector and choose to upgrade the connector in wizard mode
5. At Step 4 in the wizard, one is prompted asked whether one wants to retain process tasks. On each results page (1-10 of 55), one checks the boxes and click the Retain button. This user interface does not make any sense. When one goes to next results set and click the Retain button, it unchecks process tasks on the previous results page.
How is this supposed to work?

6. Finally, after upgrading the connector, none of the process tasks are retained.
