"Resource not found" Error Adding User to Enterprise Capture Client Profile in a Newly Imported Workspace

Symptoms

After importing a workspace exported from another system, the following error is returned:

A run time MBean exception has occurred.
java.lang.RuntimeException: oracle.odc.exception.CaptureException:
java.lang.NullPointerException

The workspace is imported, but when attempting to add a user to any of the capture profiles, and submitting the changes, the following error is returned:

Resource not found
