Last updated on SEPTEMBER 14, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Internet Directory - Version 11.1.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When executing several/multiple ldapsearch commands against Oracle Internet Directory (OID) under the following conditions, the processing speed may slow down.

1) Search binding with cn=orcladmin or accounts with superuser privileges.

2) Search on "cn=subconfigsubentry” entry tree rather than a user tree.

3) Using a custom script (or shell script), which is not recommended for performance evaluation or proof of concept.
