After migrating Sites from Fatwire version 7.5.3

Symptoms

When trying to log into a site that has a name longer than 40 characters, login does not succeed. Instead the user is returned to the screen to select an application.

The following error is seen in sites.log

 

Changes

This issue begins after upgrading from Sites 7.x.
