ODI Session Completes Successfully While Load Plan Execution Hangs When Insert Counts Get Very Large
(Doc ID 1958988.1)
Last updated on MAY 12, 2017
Applies to:Oracle Data Integrator - Version 184.108.40.206.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
The issue is observed with a Load Plan that contains a Scenario with two Integration Interfaces.
Each Interface inserts 1286763222 rows, and the total is resulting in a negative total count on the parent session level.
The final counts (INSERT, ROW, UPDATE, DELETE) at the Scenario level are left blank. The load plan that calls this scenario never moves to the next step even though the scenario has finished. The load plan, from the operator interface, looks like it is still running as the parent step has a green lightening bolt even though the individual step has completed.
The following warning and error messages are also seen from the standalone agent console on which this Load Plan is executed:
2014-08-22 16:49:28.265 ERROR ODI-1220 Session preparation failure: an unexpecte d exception occurred.
