B2B 11g - File Channel Encoding ISO-8859-1 Causes NullPointerException (Doc ID 1960273.1)

The following error is encountered when B2B File Listening channel tries to read a file with encoding ISO-8859-1 sent by one of the trading partners.

The file trying to be processed has special character "Ú" which is not processed by B2B
