How To Suppress Stack Traces In Browser When Using Non-existent Rtarget In Url (Doc ID 1961272.1)

Goal

Is there any way in a 11.1.1.6.0 Portal installation to prevent this error stack being shown in the browser when a non-existent URL is passed as follows :-

http://host:port/xxxyyy?_rtarget=someUnknownTarget

Error shown is
Error: The servlet produced the following error stack. java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Resource target portlet reference'someUnknownTarget' not found
