(Doc ID 1962499.1)

Oracle Unified Directory - Version to [Release 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The oud-setup utility cannot access an existing JKS keystore if the keystore PIN contains some combination of special characters.  For example,

1. Create a JKS keystore and self-signed cert, using a complex key/storepass:

The cert and keystore are successfully created and the cert viewable with keytool, using the given password.

2. Run 'oud-setup -i', configure for SSL/TLS, and specify the keystore created in step 1.

The oud-setup command (running in either CLI or GUI mode) fails with a "Could not access JKS keystore" error.
