OEM (Enterprise Manager) Reporting IB Switch Ports As Being Disconnected On Exalogic Physical Compute Nodes Although No Issues With IB Links/Ports (Doc ID 1963189.1)

Symptoms

In Exalogic Linux Physical racks which are monitored using Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c (OEM), following error messages about IB Switch Ports on the compute node being disconnected are reported.


Port 9 on /Exalogic 1/AK00XXXXXX/10.17.X.X is disconnected from port 2 on el1cn06.testing.com.
Port 8 on /Exalogic 1/AK00XXXXXX/10.17.X.X is disconnected from port 2 on el1cn03.testing.com.
Port 5 on /Exalogic 1/AK00XXXXXX/10.17.X.X is disconnected from port 2 on el1cn02.testing.com.
Port 7 on /Exalogic 1/AK00XXXXXX/10.17.X.X is disconnected from port 2 on el1cn04.testing.com.

Below is complete error message about IB Switch ports being disconnected.

Healthchecks on the IB Switches and Compute Nodes does not indicate any problem on the IB side or on the Linux Compute Nodes side. But still OEM reports above error messages as IB Switch ports being disconnected.
