WITH IE 8 or 9: SCREEN GRAYS OUT SELECTING A RECORD ON DETACH MODE (Doc ID 1964055.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 03, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle JDeveloper - Version 11.1.1.7.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In this scenario, customer has a table with the detach icon on toolbar. Also the toolbar has a partial trigger from toolbar to an input field below the table that listens to the table selection (result is same if toolbar links to table).

With the following steps:

- Highlight/select a row
- Press Detach on table
- Highlight/select a different row
- Close Detach window (so returns to attached window)

With IE 8 or 9 the page gets grayed out with no way to recover but to refresh. Does not appear to happen on FireFox or Chrome. Also, without the partial trigger on the toolbar issue doesn't happen.

Basic structure:

<f:facet name="toolbar" >
<af:toolbar id="t2" partialTriggers="::it2">
<af:commandButton text="commandButton 1" id="cb1"

rendered="#{bindings.DepartmentName.inputValue=='Finance'}" />
</af:toolbar>

</f:facet>
<f:facet name="statusbar"/>
<af:table value="#{bindings.DepartmentsView1.collectionModel}"
var="row"
.............

selectedRowKeys="#{bindings.DepartmentsView1.collectionModel.selectedRow}"

selectionListener="#{bindings.DepartmentsView1.collectionModel.makeCurrent}"
rowSelection="single" id="t1" >
............

</af:table>
</af:panelCollection>

<af:inputText value="#{bindings.DepartmentName.inputValue}"
label="#{bindings.DepartmentName.hints.label}"
partialTriggers="pc1:t1"
........
