OAM 11.1.2.2.1: users under a specific OID container are not able to authenticate succesfully. (Doc ID 1964998.1)

Symptoms

On : OAM 11.1.2.2.1 configured with OID userstore, users in a particular container in OID are denied access to protected resources despite entering correct credentials.


ERROR

The following error is seen in the OAM server log - oam_server1-diagnostic.log file.




STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. In the oamconsole configure OIDStore with bind dn other then orcladmin user.

2. protect a resource with an authentication scheme that uses this OIDStore.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users in particular OID container are not able to login successfully. This is resulting in delays to their project deadline.
